In the U.S., Black women are 3-4 times more likely to suffer preterm labor and pregnancy complications, and have two times the mortality rate as White women. With these heartbreaking statistics, we want to bring awareness to the urgent maternal warning signs during Black Maternal Health Week. Seek care immediately if you are pregnant or within a year of delivery and have any of these symptoms.
