Get to Know Woman’s Fitness – Sydney Anderson, Manager

Sydney Anderson joined the Woman’s team in 2017 and has since become the manager of fitness and spa services at Woman’s Center for Wellness. In her role, she has daily interactions with our members, clients, and team to ensure we continuously offer top-of-the-line programs and services. Her team focuses on helping women and offering programs for pre-and post-natal, diabetes, arthritis, healthy aging, bone health, cancer, and more. “Being involved in fitness and spa affords the opportunity to help women realize the critical role that fitness and relaxation plays in a woman’s overall health and well-being,” Sydney said.

  • Why is it important for women to work in women’s health?
It’s important to me because I want us to all understand that we must first take care of ourselves if we want to care for everyone else. Fitness is health and helping women to realize that is what we aim to do at Woman’s, on a daily basis.
  • What do you love most about working in women’s wellness?
I love helping women realize the potential of doing things they thought were impossible. We often hear stories from women who have made lots of progress in their fitness journeys, greatly increasing their overall health and quality of life. These stories inspire us every day because ultimately, we are here to make sure women are able to live their best and fullest lives.
  • What will individuals gain from using the services at Woman’s Center for Wellness?
You don’t just get a fitness membership — you get a family! The environment here is caring and bursting with knowledge; you can feel that as soon as you walk through the door. Members tell me they have gone to other gyms, even out of state, and the experience they get here is like none other. All of our instructors and trainers are highly skilled and dedicated to the safety of their trainees! Members not only get a sense of camaraderie and family but also the best knowledge in the industry.
  • How do the services at the Woman’s Center for Wellness positively affect someone’s well-being?
We are called a wellness center because we focus on helping women feel good inside and out. By feeding our bodies healthy food and exercising regularly, we are able to stay healthier, strengthening our hearts, muscles, bones, and spirits. I personally work out several times per week. It allows the “me time” I need to unwind from all the stress life may bring.

We offer more than 120 group exercise classes per week, and Fitness Club members can take advantage of several amenities including an indoor track and lap pool — the possibilities are endless! All the while you are able to enjoy it with ladies who are like you and may be on the same journey as you. And after that workout, you get to take advantage of the many spa services we have to offer so you can unwind and relax. Why not do this all in one place?
