By definition, “conscious” points to a state of mental awareness. It’s being aware of one’s own existence, sensations, thoughts, surroundings, and for the purpose of improving your eating habits, food.
To put the word into perspective, with regards to eating: Breakfast, lunch and dinner should be a conscious act. When you prepare dinner, walk through the grocery store, or attend an event, be “conscious” of the foods that are presented and what you decide to put in your mouth.
Often times, we get caught in the moment and unconsciously eat. This action can ruin all you’ve accomplished. In the moment ask yourself “Is it worth it?” Remember to be mindful in the moment.
