Monday, March 2 was an exciting delivery day at Woman’s Hospital. Twin brothers Austin and Ashton Tureaud each welcomed a new addition to their family, just hours apart. They have shared nearly every major milestone together but becoming fathers on the same day is something neither expected.

At 7:30 a.m., Austin Tureaud and his wife Courtney delivered a healthy baby boy. Several hours later around 2 p.m., Ashton Tureaud and his wife, who is also named Courtney, welcomed a beautiful baby boy.

The rare coincidence of twin brothers each being married to a woman named Courtney and each having their baby boys born on the same day at Woman’s Hospital has quickly become a favorite story among family members and Woman’s staff.

With two newborns joining the family within hours of each other, the Tureauds are preparing for a lively year ahead filled with shared milestones, joint birthday celebrations, and lots of happiness as they tell their birth story.
